I am trying to find out whether there is a UK association for bed and
breakfast (guesthouse/farmhouse) owners? There may well be more than

reflection I realise I should have specified as much in my original

I assumed you were aware of the possibility that there may not be one
Association for all of the UK when you said "There may well be more
than one association or trade body."
During my research, I was not able to find one Association that
represents all the regions in the UK. The Associations provided in my
answer represent various regions in the UK. If there is a specific
region you are interested in that is not in my answer, please let me
know and I will continue searching.
